CollegeFashionista x boohoo.com

If I haven't mentioned this before, I currenly intern with CollegeFashionista. A fashion online publication that showcases fashion styles and trends on college campuses around the world. So far it's been a great ride! And maybe I'm being biased, but they're pretty RAD!

Recently, CollegeFashionista partnered up with boohoo.com to showcase the top 5 fall must-have trends of the season, and I was lucky enough to be a part of it!

I had the opportunity to pair up this corduroy, mustard playsuit with this killer double-buckel belt, I was dying to have! Both pieces make great statements, and pairing them together makes for a great fall outfit. If you like both of these pieces, make sure to check their website to find them. Also make sure to follow along with CollegeFashionista every week as we highlight the top 5 fall trends you need to have! You can also look up the #BoohooNation for some style inspo :)

Hope you guys like this outfit. Till next time!

Model Off Duty

Hello my little peoples! How are you guys doing? Hopefully great!

I wanted to talk to you guys about how much street style has evolved and build it's own platform. Magazines and fashion labels are not the only ones who can offer us some inspiration. We now have the ability to get inspired by those around us without the need to necessarily pick up a fashion mag or watch a runway show. Even though they are still great inspo binges!

I personally love being able to seek and gain inspiration from either the people I go to school with, people I work with or simply by random strangers on a daily basis. One of my personal favorite street style looks are the "Model Off Duty" ones. I think it's so cool to see how fashion & runway models create their own styles and personas off camera. So here's a simple "Model Off Duty" look that's easy to pull off and yet still feel pretty cool!

What are some of your favorite street style looks?

Back to Black

After experimenting with different hair colors, I decided it was time to go back to black. It was fun trying out different colors, but going back to black seemed like the right thing for me and I am completely content with it. This color resonates with my being at the moment. Also, this long sleeve black top that I thrifted is currently my favorite. I love how it has two big pockets and that I can button it all the way to the collar. It's also a bit oversized which I like very much.

Oh and there's something about wearing glasses that makes me feel safe and comfortable. It becomes sort of like a security blanket?  I don't know it's weird, but I feel like I can be more of myself when I wear them. Strange but true. I look like a dork, but that's okay.
