Denim & White

BACK FROM THE DEAD.

HAI GUYS! I'm back from the dead! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was without internet service and I traveled to NYC for the first time this past weekend! But I'm back with a new post! After putting this outfit together I came to realize that I need to wear more denim and white. On top of that, I felt extremely comforable and that's always a plus. For a while now I been searching for a pair of high-waisted denim shorts, but either they were to expensive or just not the ones I wanted. Turns out I had to travel all the way to New York to find a pair. I visited Crossroads Trading, which is a very well known thrift store, especially to fashion bloggers. I had to go check it out, and in doing so I ended up finding and buying these cute Arizona shorts for only $13! I was a happy camper.

I paired them up with my Zara white top and my new pair of New Balance high-top sneakers I purchased at one of the NY UO stores. I also tried the top knot bun and I think it will now be my go-to hairstyle! If I can manage to finally learn how to do it on myself without my sister's help (hairstyles are not my forte). Hope you guys like this outfit of the day post! Till next time! GOODBAII.

Mom Jeans x 4th of July

For quite some time now I was on the hunt for a pair of mom jeans. Now I had come across some, but it was just too much for my pocket to afford and honestly I couldn't afford to risk it it and be broke. So I opted for the next best option....THRIFTING. I went thrifting on the mission to find a pair and after racks of jeans I came across not only one, but TWO of them. And the best part was it was all under $5! Can I get an AMEN?

If you guys are looking for something to wear for this upcoming 4th of July, then maybe I can help.
Red, white and blue are obviously the theme colors. However you don't want to be super cliche or corny about it. Sometimes less and simple is more. If you own a pair of mom jeans, try pairing it up with simple top with not so much going on, whether red or white, it is great way to still represent the theme, but no be too over the top. This also gives you more room to play with other parts of your outfit! And if you want a pop of color, try a colored hat or colored lip. It'd be sure to give you that extra detail! If you don't feel like wearing heels, sandals or sneakers, try a boot of your selection. It'll make your outfit fun and edgy!

Hope this helps you guys get an idea of what to wear or just spark some style inspiration. And happy early 4th of July!

Model Off Duty

Hello my little peoples! How are you guys doing? Hopefully great!

I wanted to talk to you guys about how much street style has evolved and build it's own platform. Magazines and fashion labels are not the only ones who can offer us some inspiration. We now have the ability to get inspired by those around us without the need to necessarily pick up a fashion mag or watch a runway show. Even though they are still great inspo binges!

I personally love being able to seek and gain inspiration from either the people I go to school with, people I work with or simply by random strangers on a daily basis. One of my personal favorite street style looks are the "Model Off Duty" ones. I think it's so cool to see how fashion & runway models create their own styles and personas off camera. So here's a simple "Model Off Duty" look that's easy to pull off and yet still feel pretty cool!

What are some of your favorite street style looks?

3 Ways To Wear: Tank Top

Hello, my little peoples! Hope you are all doing well. So today's post is going to be a long one. I thought I would show you guys 3 ways to wear a simple tank top. Though tank tops are a basic, it doesn't mean we can't take them to the next level! I also did a little mini lookbook, so make sure to watch it at the end! Till next time :)

Stealing From The Boys

Alright my fellow readers! (If any of you actually exist and come across my blog). I want to let you guys know that wearing clothes from the boys section is completely OKAY. If you ever come across a piece that you fancy, but stop yourself from buying it because it's from the men's section, then I tell you to stop and GO FOR IT. Wearing pieces from the boys section can be fun and a cool, new way to make it your own. It's also a great way to break barriers and show others that we can wear whatever we want no matter what section in a department store it comes from.

I currently work at Urban Outfitters and the moment I set my eyes on this top, I knew I had to have it. At first I was a bit hesistant on buying it because I wasn't sure if it was me. But after seeing it a couple times after, I purchased it and now it is mine. So here's my own take on this top!

Here's to wearing what we want!
