Kitty & Finals?

This week has got me stressing. Why? Well I'm sure most of you guys know a little something called...finals. They are basically a life ruiner. And it's even worse when it's on a subject you hate very much. My enemy is math and we just always seem to be at a constant war. Hopefully, after this week this battle will be over!

Today's outfit is a simple one. This boxy top is from H&M. I bought it a while ago and thought the little kitty face on it was the cutest thing. I like the fact that there isn't so much going on, but still has a way of standing out. I paired it up with these black shorts cause I'm getting tired of wearing jeans. Also it's just WAY to hot right now. I added the red bowler hat for a pop of color and these white platforms for a feminine touch.

If you guys are taking finals like I am, I wish you all the luck!

Denim & Netflix

I recently bought this cute thrifted denim vest I'm wearing and let me just say that I am happy I did. It's the perfect alternative to wearing a jacket and it helps elevate the most basic pieces if you just want a simple but still put together look. I just want to wear it all the time now. But hey that's the point right!

In other news, I've been on a Netflix binge (as always) with the new series "DAREDEVIL" and guys it is SO GOOD!!! I can't stop watching. I totally recommend it if you're looking for a new show to watch! Maybe I'll do a post about it later cause I'm that obsessed. No shame.

Hope you guys are having a good week!

Wonderland & New Romantics

So, I am perfectly aware that Taylor Swift's 1989 album came out a while ago. However, it doesn't mean I can't keep listening to it or share with you guys two of my favorite songs off the album. They actually happen to be two of the bonus tracks, so if you haven't heard them yet, it will be a pleasure for me to introduce them to you! As always Taylor is a genius when it comes to songwriting and she never disappoints! Overall the album is pretty amazing and the packaging is super cute too! Like who doesn't love cute packaging? Anywho, here are the two tracks and get ready to fall in love with them.

WARNING: Odds are you will end up listening to them on repeat.

Bonus Track 1: Wonderland

Okay, so this song has got to be my favorite out of the whole album. It has this nostalgic yet magical feel to it. Whether you're doing homework, in a car or making your way to class, this song has the ability to take you somewhere else. And though the song is about losing a love she knew might end at some point, she still felt like she was in "Wonderland" during the time it lasted. However, the song has this accepting and hopeful perspective, which is nice to hear.

Bonus Track 2: New Romantics

Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you my second favorite, "New Romantics". Everytime I hear this song it kind of makes me want to strut wherever I am and feel like I can do and conquer anything. The song deals about how we the "New Romantics" go about life and love. That we all have this whimsical and magical way of approaching both, but that there's nothing really wrong with that. So she's basically saying to embrace it! It is in did very charming.

You can literally take any pick from the album tracklist and you will be pleased everytime.

Let's not forget about the cool polaroids that comes along with the album!

I hope you guys listen, enjoy and love these tracks as much as I do! If you've heard the rest of the album, which I'm sure the majority of you have, let me know what some of your favorite tracks are! I'd love to know! We can fangirl over them together.

A Broke College Student

Don't have much to say this week. Besides the fact that I'm stressing over trying to pass my classes. But yet again that's every college student's turmoil. We can't really seem to escape from that reality, can we?

Today's look is my way of trying to escape from this killer heat we're having. Everything I'm wearing is thrifted (you don't need to waste so much money at the mall, trust me) except for the the socks, headband and necklace. The socks are actually knee-high socks, but I scrunched them down to achieve more of a grungy element. I guess this would've been one my looks if I had the chance to go to all those popular festivals. But hey, I'm a broke college student after all. I can barely afford chicken nuggets. Hope you guys are having a good start to the week!

Oh, Hey Mickey. Watcha Doing On My Shirt?

HAI GUISE. If you have come across my blog for some kind of miracle, enjoy it and actually exist, then I thank you! Sometimes I feel like I'm literally talking to myself when I'm creating these posts. I find it hard to believe that there's someone on the other side stumbling upon my little blog, but if you are, let me know! Feel free to comment in the comment box below. It'd be great to know you guys are out there!

Anywho, for today's outfit I kept it pretty laidback. Going to school is such a bummer, as well as very stressful. Oh math why shall you exist? Oh tests why shall you exist? Lectures and numbers should never be something we should go through! It really does make me go crazy.

For a long day at school, I try my best to dress as comfortable as possible, nothing is worse than being in class or on campus and feeling uncomfortable. We already have to deal with the ongoing stress, why add another thing to the list? So I went for my Mickey Mouse printed top and paired it up with a simple pair of high-waisted jeans. Added my knit top beanie for an extra detail and choose the closest thing to flip flops...birkenstocks. They're comfy and still cute. For a bit of a "cool" factor I wore these pretty chic glasses which are perfect for this blinding sun we are having down here in Florida (but yet again that's normal). Hope y'all are having a good week!

*I don't know why I'm holding a branch*

*Oh, there's that branch again*

*I must really like this branch*

Stealing From The Boys

Alright my fellow readers! (If any of you actually exist and come across my blog). I want to let you guys know that wearing clothes from the boys section is completely OKAY. If you ever come across a piece that you fancy, but stop yourself from buying it because it's from the men's section, then I tell you to stop and GO FOR IT. Wearing pieces from the boys section can be fun and a cool, new way to make it your own. It's also a great way to break barriers and show others that we can wear whatever we want no matter what section in a department store it comes from.

I currently work at Urban Outfitters and the moment I set my eyes on this top, I knew I had to have it. At first I was a bit hesistant on buying it because I wasn't sure if it was me. But after seeing it a couple times after, I purchased it and now it is mine. So here's my own take on this top!

Here's to wearing what we want!
