Mom Jeans x 4th of July

For quite some time now I was on the hunt for a pair of mom jeans. Now I had come across some, but it was just too much for my pocket to afford and honestly I couldn't afford to risk it it and be broke. So I opted for the next best option....THRIFTING. I went thrifting on the mission to find a pair and after racks of jeans I came across not only one, but TWO of them. And the best part was it was all under $5! Can I get an AMEN?

If you guys are looking for something to wear for this upcoming 4th of July, then maybe I can help.
Red, white and blue are obviously the theme colors. However you don't want to be super cliche or corny about it. Sometimes less and simple is more. If you own a pair of mom jeans, try pairing it up with simple top with not so much going on, whether red or white, it is great way to still represent the theme, but no be too over the top. This also gives you more room to play with other parts of your outfit! And if you want a pop of color, try a colored hat or colored lip. It'd be sure to give you that extra detail! If you don't feel like wearing heels, sandals or sneakers, try a boot of your selection. It'll make your outfit fun and edgy!

Hope this helps you guys get an idea of what to wear or just spark some style inspiration. And happy early 4th of July!

SHOE HAUL: Saving Your Feet

Hi guys! Hope your Monday started off well! And if not, go get yourself a donut, you deserve it!

Today's post is on shoes! Shoes are an important accesory to have, but it's also important that your feet feel safe and pain free.

If you have sensitive feet like I do, then you know the constant struggle of finding a pair of shoes that won't destroy your feet. So I thought I'd share with you guys a little shoe haul of some the shoes I own that are easy to wear, comfortable and won't make your feet hurt!

Feel free to comment, subscribe and share with your friends!

Sunflowers

Hey guys! Anyone feeling that summer heat yet? Cause down here in Miami we sure are! I try not to go outside to avoid from melting. Just a few minutes out and you're already sweating. Anywho, I had this little sunflower maxi skirt hidden in my closet and took it out for some summer heat.  I wanted to go for a laidback look so I paired it up with this simple hat and my slip-on sneakers. I feel like maxi skirts give off the illusion that I'm taller than I am, which isn't a bad thing. Hope you guys enjoy this little outfit of the day post! Till next time :)

Model Off Duty

Hello my little peoples! How are you guys doing? Hopefully great!

I wanted to talk to you guys about how much street style has evolved and build it's own platform. Magazines and fashion labels are not the only ones who can offer us some inspiration. We now have the ability to get inspired by those around us without the need to necessarily pick up a fashion mag or watch a runway show. Even though they are still great inspo binges!

I personally love being able to seek and gain inspiration from either the people I go to school with, people I work with or simply by random strangers on a daily basis. One of my personal favorite street style looks are the "Model Off Duty" ones. I think it's so cool to see how fashion & runway models create their own styles and personas off camera. So here's a simple "Model Off Duty" look that's easy to pull off and yet still feel pretty cool!

What are some of your favorite street style looks?

Living on Four Dollars?

Hi guys! Hope you are all doing well. Anything new?

At the moment, I am desperately waiting for my paycheck next week. I am dying to buy some new clothes. What I currently own right now isn't really cutting it. I haven't bought any clothes in a while now and I'm ready for new things and to try pieces that maybe I wouldn't wear. I guess I'm ready for a change in wardrobe. But I can't do that with only $4 in my bank account (true story).

Anywho, here's a simple ootd :)
